The Memphis Grizzlies waived Avery Bradley, league sources told David Aldridge of The Athletic.

Bradley's contract would have been guaranteed for $12.96 million if they had not made the move before July 8th. The two sides agreed to move the guarantee date of his contract back from July 3rd.

The Grizzlies will still owe Bradley $2 million next season.

The move comes on the heels of the Grizzlies trading C.J. Miles to the Wizards for Dwight Howard, which saved the Grizzlies $3.1 million in cap space.
