The Oklahoma City Thunder are seeking multiple young assets in exchange for Russell Westbrook, which the Miami Heat have refused at least to this point, a source tells Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald.

The Thunder have asked for Tyler Herro to be included. Herro was Miami's first round draft pick.

Oklahoma City asked the Heat to include two of Herro, Bam Adebayo and Justise Winslow during another point in the discussions this week. Miami is opposed to included Adebayo.

The Heat value Winslow but they could include him in a deal for Westbrook since his role would be diminished as a ballhandler.

Miami is willing to give the Thunder contracts that add up to slightly more that Westbrook’s $38.5 million salary next season.

Westbrook is due $172 million over the next four seasons. The Heat are unsure if any other teams are seriously pursuing Westbrook.
