John Wall opened up about his recovery from an Achilles injury, telling Michael Lee of The Athletic that he wants one more chance to win with the Washington Wizards playing alongside Bradly Beal.

"I’m not one of those guys that wants to play for multiple teams. I want to play for one organization. If it comes down to it, where you have to move around, and it don’t work, they’re giving me the opportunity to come back, not this year but next year after, if I don’t play well, you trade me. I can’t be mad at nobody because they gave me the opportunity and I gave myself a chance to prove myself. That’s all I ask for," said Wall.

Wall said he and Beal "are brothers," adding that the two players can go toe-to-toe with any duo in the league.

Wall, who tore his Achilles last winter, also said that he knew Kevin Durant's injury was in his Achilles and not his calf as reported.

"I know what a calf strain is like. I know what an Achilles injury is like. When you look back like that, I knew it was an Achilles injury from the start. I can’t diagnose what those doctors said. But if you look where he was icing his leg, it was the Achilles the whole time."
