Willie Cauley-Stein agreed to a two-year, $4.4 million deal with the Golden State Warriors during his first NBA free agency. Cauley-Stein was offered $9 million by the Charlotte Hornets.

Cauley-Stein hoped to get his career back on track with a winning franchise.
