David Fizdale complimented Frank Ntilikina's performance against the Dallas Mavericks, saying it was the best game the point guard has played in his NBA career.
Ntilikina finished with 14 points and 6 rebounds in the Knicks' 106-102 win.
"This was his best game since he's been in the league. Just what he's been doing is getting better and better. Every game he becomes more confident. I'm really happy for the kid," said Fizdale after the game.
Ntilikina has started the last four games for the Knicks due to an injury to Elfrid Payton. Ntilikina added that the consistency is helping him find his rhythm.
"You just get more experience. There's some stuff you work on at practice, on your workouts, but there's nothing like playing the game, playing rhythm games, tough competition games. So that gives you a lot of experience and confidence on what you work on during practice."
