The Golden State Warriors have assigned Kevon Looney to the G League.

Looney has missed the last 13 games with a neuropathic condition that has complicated his recovery from a hamstring injury that sidelined him for the preseason.

Looney and the Warriors have consulted with outside specialists on his treatment.

Looney played 11 minutes in the season opener against the L.A. Clippers but left the game at halftime after aggravating his hamstring.
