Russell Westbrook finished with 41 points in the Houston Rockets' 111-110 overtime win over the Boston Celtics.

The tally upped Westbrook's scoring average in February to 33.4 points per game. He also shot 54.9% from the field during the month, his highest field goal percentage for an entire month in his career.

"Right now, I think I'm moving in the right direction. I've just got to stay locked in with what I'm doing, with my craft and what I've been doing since I've been in the league," said Westbrook after the game.

Westbrook's resurgence has also coincided with the Rockets' small-ball lineups without a traditional center. He averaged 32.5 points on 52.2% shooting in January.

"One thing he can do and one thing he's great at is driving to the rim. When you're spacing the floor and you're taking [defenders] out the middle, you're allowing him to access the lane whenever you want. You're playing right into his hands. Credit [coach Mike] D'Antoni and the front office for the way he's orchestrated it. It's maximizing what he's able to do," added Jeff Green.
