The New York Knicks' and Brooklyn Nets' practice facilities will remain closed due to local ordinances after the NBA announced that certain teams will be allowed to open up facilities for individual workouts on May 1st.

Adam Silver could possibly receive a waiver from New York governor Andrew Cuomo for Nets and Knicks players.

A Knicks spokesperson would not confirm if their Tarrytown facility was closed. 

With Knicks players sheltering across the country, "at least a couple" of players are weary of returning to New York in mid-May, sources told Marc Berman of the New York Post.
