The New York Knicks are one of several teams looking for guidance and structure to begin their offseason workouts in light of not receiving an invite to Orlando, sources told Marc Berman of the New York Post.

“The eight teams who are not playing need parameters and guidelines for offseason work. The hope is to get clarity at some point soon so these teams can start organizing and planning their offseasons," one league official told The Post.

While the Knicks are waiting for the league to review several options, the league's main concern is focused on managing their bubble environment in Orlando.

ESPN reported that teams not invited to Orlando are looking to set up their own summer leagues, training camps, and scrimmages.

The Knicks are also in support of starting next season on December 1st.

The team is eager to get back to play as soon as possible, as a December 1st start would mean that it would have been nine months since they last played a regular-season game.
