Rob Pelinka said that the upcoming Orlando restart will test players on both a mental and physical level.

Pelinka added that the close-knit nature of this current Lakers roster will be an advantage.

"I think Orlando itself is going to be as much of a mental test as it is a physical test just because of the extraordinary circumstances there.

"I think a team like ours, that has such a strong togetherness component, will have an advantage at that part. This team of guys love being together and love playing together. I think that's the significant part of the [first] 63 games," said Pelinka.

Pelinka said that the Lakers are focusing on mental wellness protocols to help players during their time in the bubble.

Pelinka also added that he did not know if Dwight Howard would join the team in Orlando.
