NBA players will be able to choose their own wardrobe as they enter the arena, sources clarified to Nick DePaula of ESPN.

A league spokesperson had previously told ESPN that players would be required to be in uniform upon entering the team bus.

Players are now able to wear anything "clean and neat in appearance," including shorts.

Players not in uniform at games will be required to wear pants while seated on the bench, though the league removed the requirement that players on the bench must wear a sports coat.
