Voting for individual awards such as MVP, All-NBA, rookie of the year and defensive player of the year will take place before the Orlando restart.

"The decision to exclude seeding games from awards voting ensures a fair process in which players and coaches from all 30 teams will have the same opportunity to be honored as top performers for the regular season," wrote the league in a memo to teams.

Votes for individual awards are usually cast closer to the end of the regular season, though only 22 out of the 30 teams will compete in Orlando.

Statistical titles, ranging from scoring, rebounds, assists, and steals, will be up for grabs through the seeding games.
