The NBA has yet to have any players or staff test positive for COVID-19 from within their campus with the exception of two players who tested positive upon arrival and still in quarantine.

“From my standpoint, it’s going very well, and I’m cautiously optimistic that we’re on the right track,” said Adam Silver. “But I also recognize what we’re doing has not been done before, and the competition is just beginning. The real test will come when players are commingling, playing basketball without masks and without physical distancing.”

Silver is expected to make his first appearance on campus this week.

“It requires significant sacrifice from our players,” said Silver of life on their campus.
