The New York Knicks worked out Shai Gilgeous-Alexander before the 2018 NBA Draft, sources told Ian Begley of SNY.

The Knicks would end up drafting Kevin Knox with the ninth selection due to his size and shooting ability he displayed at Kentucky.

Gilgeous-Alexander would go two picks later to the Hornets, before his rights were traded to the Clippers.

Leon Rose is reportedly not sold on Knox's future with the team.

Knox averaged 6.4 points and 2.8 rebounds per game last season.
