The NBA's television ratings don't appear to be impacted either positively or negatively by the strike of players from Wednesday until Friday to protest the shooting of Jacob Blake in Kenosha, Wisconsin.
The highest rated game last week came on Monday when the Los Angeles Lakers defeated the Portland Trail Blazers in Game 4 with 2.979 million viewers, according to data from ShowBuzzDaily. The two teams played again on Saturday in Game 5, which drew 2.924 million viewers.
The two games last week between the Los Angeles Clippers and Dallas Mavericks similarly had little difference in viewership with 2.434 million on Tuesday and 2.318 million on Sunday.
Saturday's win by the Houston Rockets over the Oklahoma City Thunder drew 2.140 million viewers compared to just 1.186 million when they had an afternoon time slot on Monday.
Ratings for the restart and the playoffs are down year-over-year, though largely in line with viewership across all television.
