Gordon Hayward could return to the Boston Celtics for game 3 on Saturday, sources told Jared Weiss of The Athletic.

Hayward practiced on Wednesday, and is expected to get more on-court work on Friday ahead of a potential Saturday return.

Hayward has not played since suffering a sprained ankle over a month ago.  

The Celtics are currently down 2-0 against the Heat.
