The Los Angeles Clippers gave up one of the most extensive trade packages to the Oklahoma City Thunder for Paul George in 2019, though that deal has largely been analyzed as an opportunity to also sign Kawhi Leonard.

George can become a free agent again in 2021 and has received criticism internally and externally during his first season with the Clippers.

George is, however, unlikely to be traded by the Clippers in any type of deal.

"The Clippers remain fully committed to George as part of their program," sources tell Sam Amick of The Athletic.
