Kyrie Irving and the Brooklyn Nets have each been fined $25,000 for violating the NBA's rules regarding media availability.

Irving has yet to make himself available to reporters since the start of training camp.

Irving has put out mixed messages on whether he plans to speak with the media this season. Malika Andrews of ESPN reports that Irving has declined numerous requests to speak to reporters since the beginning of training camp.

NBA players are required to speak to the media as part of their contracts.
