Karl-Anthony Towns has been upgraded from "out" to "doubtful" for Monday's game at the Dallas Mavericks.

Towns tested positive for COVID-19 three weeks ago and is working his way back to game action.

Towns has been traveling with the Wolves during their current road trip and working on his conditioning.

"He's really been able to push himself," Ryan Saunders said. "Our medical group has been able to try to simulate certain stints during a game, the stopping and going, what that might feel like with his lungs."

It is not yet known how mild or severe Towns' case of COVID-19 was.
