While the Los Angeles Lakers have interest in both centers, their preference is for Andre Drummond over DeMarcus Cousins.

Drummond is sitting while the Cleveland Cavaliers attempt to trade him. Drummond is on a $28.8 million salary this season, which makes any trade difficult to consummate.

The Houston Rockets waived Cousins last month and is expected to sign with a contender.

The Lakers and Brooklyn Nets are considered the favorites to sign Drummond, though the latter just signed Blake Griffin to play center.
