P.J. Tucker was scratched from the Houston Rockets lineup due to his frustration over not being traded to a contender.

Tucker is not expected to return to the lineup, according to Stephen Silas.

“We’re going to try to figure out something that works for him and works for us as far as him not being on the team anymore," said Silas.

The Rockets have had trade discussions with the Lakers, Heat, Nets, and Bucks involving Tucker, and are expected to find a deal before the March 25 trade deadline.

The team is looking for a young, productive rotation player in return.

Tucker is currently in the final season of a four-year, $32 million deal.

The Rockets thought they were closing to signing a two-year extension with Tucker for $17 million and $10 million guaranteed. Tucker's camp countered with a offer of a guaranteed two-year deal worth $24 million.
