The Washington Wizards will try to sign Bradley Beal to a contract extension this offseason as he becomes eligible for another one.

Beal can sign a contract with the Wizards worth about $181.5 million over four years this offseason ($45.4M annually), or wait until next offseason and sign for about $235 million over five years ($47M annually).

Beal has a player option for the 22-23 season worth a projected $37.3 million. Beal last signed a two-year extension in 2019.

Beal will reach 10 years of NBA service and sign for 35 percent of the cap if he waits until 2022.
