The Indiana Pacers will hire Lloyd Pierce as Rick Carlisle's top assistant coach.

The Atlanta Hawks fired Pierce as head coach on March 1st. Pierce was an assistant coach previously for the Philadelphia 76ers from 2013 through 2018 after previous stops with several other NBA teams.

The Pacers hired Carlisle as head coach last week.
