Trae Young has agreed to a five-year, $207 million designated extension with the Atlanta Hawks.

The deal will be worth $207 million if he makes an All-NBA team during the 21-22 season and approximately $172 million if he does not. Young also has an early termination option after Year 4.

Young did not make the All-Star Game this past season as the Hawks had a slow start to the season, but he did finish with averages of 25.3 points, 3.9 rebounds and 9.4 assists in 33.7 minutes per game. More importantly, Young led the Hawks to the Eastern Conference Finals, averaging 28.8 points, 2.8 rebounds and 9.5 assists in 37.7 minutes per game during the playoffs.
