The Philadelphia 76ers have hired Phil Beckner as a coaching consultant. Beckner is expected to assist the coaching staff in several areas.

Beckner is a former assistant coach for Weber State and the longtime trainer for Damian Lillard.

The 76ers have interest in trading for Lillard, who has said he is not interested in leaving the Portland Trail Blazers.
