Paul Millsap has agreed to a deal with the Brooklyn Nets. Millsap will sign for the veteran minimum with Brooklyn, as that's all the Nets have to offer.

Millsap had several suitors among playoff contenders, including the Golden State Warriors, LA Clippers and Chicago Bulls. The 15-year veteran will bring additional frontcourt depth to the Nets. Millsap will team with Blake Griffin and up-and-coming young center Nic Claxton in Brooklyn's big man rotation.

Last season, Millsap transitioned to coming off the bench for the Denver Nuggets. He averaged 8.9 points and 4.7 rebounds in 20.8 minutes per game. That was the lowest amount of playing time Millsap has had since he was a second-year player with the Utah Jazz.

In effect, Millsap and Jeff Green traded places this offseason. Green played for the Nets last year and signed with the Denver Nuggets this offseason.
