The Cleveland Cavaliers have made a number of moves this offseason to address their frontcourt but sources tell Marc Stein of Substack that they also continue to seek a trade for Ben Simmons.

The Cavaliers have signed Jarrett Allen to a new five-year, $100 million contract while also selecting Evan Mobley with the third overall pick and also completed a sign-and-trade for Lauri Markkanen.

An acquisition of Simmons would further crowd Cleveland's frontcourt.

The Cavaliers also need to resolve the situation with Kevin Love, though he could conceivably be used as salary ballast in a deal for Simmons.
