Trevor Ariza will miss at least eight weeks after undergoing surgery on his right ankle.

Ariza has been out for most of training camp with the injury.

Ariza was a candidate to start for the Los Angeles Lakers if they start Anthony Davis at center. Ariza signed a one-year deal with the Lakers in the offseason.
