The Milwaukee Bucks waived Johnny O'Bryant. The Bucks then signed Jemerrio Jones to replace O'Bryant on the roster.

O'Bryant is attempting an NBA comeback after playing the last three years overseas. The 6-foot-9 forward has played in Israel, Russia, Serbia and Turkey over the past three seasons. Prior to that stretch, O'Bryant had played for Bucks, Denver Nuggets and Charlotte Hornets in the NBA.

Jones split his first NBA season in 2018-19 with the Los Angeles Lakers and the South Bay Lakers of the G League. The last two seasons, Jones has played in the G League for the Wisconsin Herd and Delaware Blue Coats. Jones was a part of the Bucks camp roster in 2019.

Both O'Bryant and Jones could land with the Herd of the G League as Affiliate Players. O'Bryant may have more lucrative offers to return to an overseas club.
