The Charlotte Hornets are on a three-game losing streak after a solid start to the season and things might be about to get even tougher. Starting guards LaMelo Ball and Terry Rozier are both expected to miss several games after entering the NBA's health and safety protocols for COVID-19.

Unless they return two negative tests in a 24-hour period, Ball and Rozier are expected to miss at least 10 days. In that span, the Hornets play five games. That stretch includes four games against current playoff teams.

Ball and Rozier have been keys to Charlotte's solid start. Ball is averaging 20 points, 7.7 rebounds and 8.3 assists in his second season. Rozier has averaged 17.7 points per game and is the Hornets best backcourt defender.
