Kyrie Irving is set to make his 2021-22 debut for the Brooklyn Nets on Wednesday in their game at the Indiana Pacers. This will mark Irving's first action this season.

Irving has missed Brooklyn's first 34 games as an unvaccinated player. Because New York won't allow unvaccinated home performers to take part in events, the Nets had previously decided to sit Irving for the season. After suffering injuries and health and safety protocol absences, Brooklyn reversed course and will allow Irving to play this season.

Irving remains eligible to play only in road games, at this point. If he plays on Wednesday as planned, Irving can play in 25 of the Nets remaining games.
