The Minnesota Timberwolves are extending the contracts of head coach Chris Finch and his staff. This comes on the heels of the Wolves finishing 46-36 and making the Play-In Tournament as the 7-seed.

Finch joined Minnesota midway through last season and led the Wolves to a 16-25 close after a 7-34 start to the season. This season, the Timberwolves improved by 23 wins and are a favorite to advance out of the Play-In Tournament and into the playoffs.

In their first full season under Finch and his staff, Minnesota improved from the 25th ranked offense to the eighth ranked offense. They also made a large leap on the other end of the floor, moving from the 28th ranked defense to the 13th ranked defense.
