Steve Kerr left the door open for Gary Payton II to potentially return to the Golden State Warriors in the Western Conference finals.

"We're not ruling him out for the whole conference finals, but we're not saying he's going to play, either," said Kerr on Sunday. "It would be a long shot for him to play, but I think it's a possibility."

Payton was initially ruled out for 3-5 weeks with a left elbow fracture

Payton is no longer wearing a brace.

Payton added that he patched things up with Dillon Brooks.

"It's all good," Payton said. "It's a basketball play. I know he didn't mean it. No hard feelings, no bad blood."
