Washington Wizards star guard Bradley Beal has a busy summer ahead of him. Beal has a third child on the way, has been doing work in his community and he's recovering from surgery on his left wrist.

Oh, and Beal is one of the best free agents available this offseason. But Beal confirmed reports from March that he plans on re-signing with the Wizards.

“This injury also gave me a mental break, a time to evaluate life, and I haven’t changed my mind-set,” Beal said. “I enjoy being in D.C.; I enjoy being on this team.”

Beal said the rehab on his left, non-shooting, wrist is going well. He had his cast removed last month and has spent most of May focused on regaining range of motion.

“Surgery was good; recovery went well," Beal said. "Had no issues.”
