The Chicago Bulls have reportedly been one of the teams interested in trading for Utah Jazz center Rudy Gobert. In order for that to happen, for salary reasons and roster reasons, Nikola Vucevic would likely have to be in any trade for Gobert.

However, despite the rumors, Vucevic doesn't think he'll be leaving Chicago. Reports are that the Bulls aren't actually engaged on trading for Gobert. And, for his part, Vucevic is under the impression he'll be back with the Bulls next season.

Vucevic is entering the final year of the four-year contract he signed with the Orlando Magic in 2019. Chicago acquired Vucevic from Orlando at the 2021 trade deadline in exchange for a package centered around Wendell Carter Jr. and two first round draft picks.
