The Portland Trail Blazers have acquired Jerami Grant from the Detroit Pistons for a 2025 first round pick originating from the Milwaukee Bucks.

The first round pick via the Bucks is protected Nos. 1-4. The pick was sent by the Bucks to the New Orleans Pelicans as part of the Jrue Holiday trade. Portland acquired the pick as part of the CJ McCollum trade.

The Blazers will absorb Grant with their Traded Player Exception. Portland has long sought a trade for Grant, who will improve their defense while also giving them a secondary scorer to pair with Damian Lillard.

Detroit will also swap the 46th pick in Thursday's draft for 36 along with a 2026 second round pick.
