Kemba Walker has yet to be officially traded from the New York Knicks to the Detroit Pistons. However, when that trade does happen, Walker won't be a Piston for long.

Walker is finalizing a buyout of his $9.2 million contract with Detroit. Walker will then be an unrestricted free agent upon clearing waivers.

Walker sat out most of the second half of last season, as the Knicks went in other directions at the point guard position. When he did play, Walker averaged 11.6 points and 3.5 assists. He shot only 40% from the field, but Walker did knock down 36.7% of his three-pointers.
