The Utah Jazz may have traded Rudy Gobert, but that doesn't mean the franchise is ready to kick off a full rebuild by also trading Donovan Mitchell. While stopping short of saying Mitchell is untouchable, Jazz GM Justin Zanik said there is no intent to trade Mitchell.

When asked if Mitchell was off the table in trade talks, Zanik explained Utah's thinking when it comes to trading their star guard.

"Things evolve in the NBA, so I couldn't sit here and say anybody is (untouchable)," Zanik said. "We're trying to build a championship team, but there's no intent there (to trade Mitchell) at all."

Zanik also said that Mitchell has been in the loop on the team's transactions and has been supportive of the moves the Jazz have made. He also added that Utah believes Mitchell could play more on-ball as the Jazz point guard in the future.
