The Atlanta Hawks have signed second-round pick Tyrese Martin to a multi-year contract. Martin was selected with the 21st pick in the second round of the 2022 NBA Draft. His rights were then swapped from the Golden State Warriors to the Hawks in a draft night trade.

Martin was a four-year starter at Connecticut. He averaged 13.5 points and 7.5 rebounds as a senior for the Huskies. He also shot 43% on 3.5 three-point attempts per game.

In Summer League, Martin performed well for Atlanta. The 6-foot-6 wing defended well and averaged 12 points in 24.2 minutes per game.
