Joe Tsai publicly voiced his support Monday night for the front office and coaching staff of the Brooklyn Nets after Kevin Durant told Tsai to choose between him and the team's general manager and coach.
Our front office and coaching staff have my support. We will make decisions in the best interest of the Brooklyn Nets.— Joe Tsai (@joetsai1999) August 8, 2022
Tsai and Durant recently met in London, which featured a reiteration of his trade request. Durant also suggested the Nets needed to choose between him and the combination of Steve Nash and Sean Marks.
Durant initially asked for a trade on June 30, and he hasn't backed off that request.
The Nets fired Kenny Atkinson during the first season after signing Kyrie Irving and Durant.
