The NBA has updated its Health and Safety COVID-19 protocols for the 22-23 season to a looser set of guidelines.

Unvaccinated players will be required to test for COVID-19 once per week, while vaccinated players will only test when symptomatic. If a player tests positive, they will be required to isolate immediately.

The NBA will no longer require face masks at all.

The league is entering its fourth season since the start of the pandemic in 2020.
