Canada is reportedly likely to drop its vaccine requirements for people entering the country by the end of September.

The country currently requires visitors to have a second COVID-19 vaccine dose or a Johnson & Johnson dose at least 14 days before entry. The requirement will be dropped after a final sign-off from Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.

The league sent a memo last month informing teams that players will either need their required COVID-19 vaccine dose or have received medical clearance from getting one in order to play in Canada.

Those requirements would no longer be relevant with the update.
