LeBron James has applied no pressure to the Los Angeles Lakers' front office to move forward with a trade for Myles Turner and Buddy Hield, sources tell The Athletic.

James remains supportive of the current regime of the Lakers.

Seven months have passed since James’ tweet supporting the “f— them picks” approach of Los Angeles Rams GM Les Snead led some to wonder how he saw the Lakers’ strategy.

James has already committed to the Lakers in the form of an extension, while Rob Pelinka has made it clear that the franchise will do everything possible to maximize their odds of contending while James remains on the team.
