The Memphis Grizzlies have waived Justin Bean and Jacob Gilyard. Both players were signed to non-guaranteed training camp contracts.

In addition, the Grizzlies have signed Matthew Hurt and Sean McDermott. Hurt was allocated to the Memphis Hustle of the G League last season, but suffered a torn meniscus, ending his season without a game played.

McDermott was with the Grizzlies on a Two-Way contract during the 2020-21 season. Last season, McDermott spent part of the year with the Hustle.

All four of Bean, Gilyard, Hurt and McDermott are expected to play with the Hustle as Affiliate Players this season.
