The Los Angeles Lakers are not considering a trade of Anthony Davis at this point, sources tell Chris Haynes of Bleacher Report.

For any team interested in trading for Davis, they almost certainly would work backchannels to gauge his interest in committing long-term. Rich Paul reportedly hasn't received any calls from interested teams in Davis.

Davis signed a five-year, $190 million contract with the Lakers during the 2020 offseason. Davis can become a free agent in 2024.

Earlier this week, Bill Simmons reported that there's been some "buzz" about Davis potentially becoming available in a trade given the struggles of the Lakers.
