The Los Angeles Clippers believe Terance Mann could become their starting point guard beyond this season, a source told Law Murray of The Athletic.

Tyronn Lue, however, ideally views Mann as a small forward. Lue would prefer to keep a traditional point guard in the Clippers' rotation.

Mann is signed through the 24-25 season after agreeing to a two-year, $22 million extension in 2021.

The emergence of Mann at point guard could make John Wall expendable.
