Kyrie Irving could sit out the rest of the season should he not get traded from the Brooklyn Nets, sources told Brian Lewis of the New York Post.

The Nets will keep Irving on the sideline as they look for a trade ahead of the February 9 deadline.

Irving reportedly has not made up his mind about whether he would return to the Nets if a trade does not go through.

Irving has drawn interest from several teams, with the Clippers more recently making a "strong offer."
