The NBA is currently at around 88 percent for season ticket renewals ahead of a normal rate of 83 percent. This is expected to be the second consecutive season of record season ticket renewals.

During his All-Star Game press conference, Adam Silver cited the "single most competitive season in our history" for their record number of tickets sold despite widespread complaints about inconsistent player availability. 

“Competitive parity is at an all-time high, which generates greater interest," said NBA Team Marketing & Business Operations President Amy Brooks.
