The Houston Rockets have signed veteran center Willie Cauley-Stein. This is Cauley-Stein's second stint with the Rockets this season.

The veteran center didn't appear in a game while on a 10 Day contract with the Rockets earlier this season. Cauley-Stein has also played for the Sacramento Kings, Golden State Warriors, Dallas Mavericks and Philadelphia 76ers during his eight-year NBA career.

In 29 games with the Rio Grande Valley Vipers of the G League, Cauley-Stein averaged 7.3 points, 6.1 rebounds, 1.1 steals and a block in 25.2 minutes per game. The Vipers are the G League affiliate of the Rockets.
