Game 6 between the Los Angeles Lakers and Golden State Warriors averaged 8.64 million viewers on ESPN, making it the most-watched first or second round series game on cable since 2010.

The six-game series averaged 7.8 million viewers across ABC, ESPN, and TNT. The number represents the largest audience for a semifinals series since the Knicks-Bulls in 1996. It is also the most-watched series of any round since the 2018 conference finals outside of the NBA Finals. 

Game 6 of the Heat-Knicks earlier on Friday night averaged 5.44 million viewers.
